Like most Games Workshop games the core mechanic is based around the probability of rolling a certain number or above on a six sided dice with unit statistcs swaying the outcome. The movement of models in regiments allows the development of certain tactics related to deployment and maneuvering during the game. Players alternate turns between moving, shooting, fighting and casting magic with all of their miniatures.

Required Accessories: Tape measure, templates, dice (D6), dice (scatter + Artillery), rulebook, army book for each army playing.
