Wyrd's premiere game "Malifaux" is a 32mm tabletop skirmish game based in an alternate Earth with a fun mix of mix of gothic, steampunk, victorian horror and wild west. Before it was a game, Malifaux miniatures were released in December 2005. It was nearly four years later when the rules system was introduced for the game in August 2009.
Army lists (known as 'crews') are based on characters with rich background stories. Crews are lead by one of these characters known as a 'master' and can combine a wide variety of henchmen to create many different play styles.

Malifaux only requires a very small number of miniatures for an actual game (4 - 6 minis for a small scrap and only a few more for an average game).
The random combat mechanic uses a deck of cards to determine the outcome of actions instead of a dice roll. This adds a unique dimension to gameplay with the ability to also 'cheat fate' by using cards from your hand.
